CMMG dedicated upper use with Geissele Trigger?

I just built my .22 upper with dedicated CMMG barrel, CMT upper, and CMMG Echo conversion kit but can't get out right away to shoot it.

Are there any problems with running the upper/conversion on a lower with a Geissele SSA-E trigger? I read that CMMG recommends the non-notched hammer. The Geissele hammer is flat across the front, similar to a non-notched hammer. Should work.

Anyone running this set up?

Comments?

I have a Geissele SSA in my Bushmaster. It seems to function quite fine with my CMMG Echo conversion bolt. Hope that helps.

See my post # 2390 for Hammer Trigger options to use with AR-22's. It's about half way down the linked page. LMK in a PM if anyone has updates I can incorporate.

Thanx,

Dave S

Thanks for the responses. I'm pretty sure it will work. I probably won't get out to shoot until next week. I'll post back.

I run a Tactical Solution upper and it runs perfectly on my lower with Geisle trigger. The TacSol was very finicky with a notched Colt hammer, it would not cycle. You should be good to go...
