SOST stands for "Special Operations Science and Technology" who developed the product. IIRC this ammunition development program was complimentary to the SCAR program, to develop carbine-optimized combat ammo for SOCOM.

Good luck finding that. The only thing better then TSX, is a different weight TSX thats better for your twist rate.
Just loaded some 70 gr myself and the mk318 is not the sost round. 70 gr is the sost optimized brown tip

No. Optimized is the brown tip, SOST is the Mk318.
