WalMart.Ammo Cans
Wally World here had the 420 round cans of Federal here for $129.00 I don't know if it was a clearance thing or not, as they ran out before I got there....one of my coworkers got in on the deal..Just saying...you might wanna check
OOOPS.....I think I put this in the wrong place!!!!!!! Please move it if needed.
I have checked several Walmarts in NC and have not found them. Where are they storing them? I would imagine they are too big for the ammo glass case.
Gander Mountain has them for $230.00

My local WM keeps one or two in the behind the locked glass in the isle(bottom shelf, PITA to get out), but if they have more they keep them locked under the counter(can't be seen). Price was $149, now it's $159.
ETA: The three other WMs within an hour drive don't have these, or ARs for that matter.
None found at my local WM either.Plenty of ammo in boxes though

I bet they have a whole pallet of cans of it too.
$129 is a great price. As stated before my local WM is at $159 now, they were $149. Walmarts are reseting their "modulars" now. This means they are changing out for the old and in for the new. Some of these new things will may be normal stock.
$129!!!!! thats a crazy price. the lowest I have seem them is $159! i want some more now

People who do not know any better will buy them up.
There is a local gun store that buys it all from my local walmart . I have seen a can there twice ever
Brownells had then for $135 last week ($149.99 sale minus 10% off coupon located in the Industry Forum).

Why can't all Wal-Mart's be the same. I would fall over if my Wal-Mart even had ammo besides 12 gauge. I am in Southeastern PA
Remember guys, Walmart will match prices.
SGammo had them as low as $143 a can before shipping. Came to 152 a can delivered. I bought several at that price just a few weeks ago.

Can anyone grab the sku number for me so I can see if my local store can order them.

This is a tag. I can't find these suckers at any local walmarts that have ammo, glass case or full counter.
I bought several of the ammo cans from the local Walmart stores here right before they went up to $159 - this is 420 rounds of the M855 ball - green tip Federal, boxed stripper clips. It's a good deal.
Never seen the cans at the local Walmart.
But I did get a can of Fed Xm855 at PSA in Okatie yesterday for 149.99 plus tax.

They can order it if they don't have it.

They mention on their site that some items available in-store may not be available online.
Thanks for the SKU info, though, I just want to be able to give em an exact number when I ask if they can order it, just so there's no mistakes about what gets ordered.
What flavor of Fed is this? The 'tactical' black box stuff? Or the 'bulk pack 100 rounds'? Or something different?
You can take your walmart receipt to gander mtn and make them match it.

Yes it does, but he asked what kind of ammo WM was selling. Since WM doesn't post their ammo on their wm.compage, I found a pic from another site. Simple enough.
Oh, and no need to SHOUT.
FB
Thanks, I'll have to look out for that next time I'm there

$249.00 in Greenwood Indana for the 420 can, i bout shit when i seen it.
I wish my walmart had these for that price. 9mm and 223/5,56 is always sold out =[
BTW if you have a Dick's sporting goods in your area they sell the can for 179.99 and they will match brick and mortar store prices. i.e walmart. I say this b/c I run the outdoor deptmartment of a Dick's here in TX
PSA has plenty(right now) of these. I was in their Columbia store Thursday and bought two cans for $149.99 each and they had them stacked 5 deep next to the check out counter. The counter guy said they would be a price increase of $10 soon.
Anyone seen these at WM in Austin, Corpus, or Houston?????
SLC Walmart has them around. Three different Walmarts have them at $149.00 and they are stacked high and deep.

I've seen them in only two stores in the Houston area. Of course they're always out.
Most of the stores do not carry the M855 cans.
Academy has had some lately but they want $180.00
Damn. $129 is a great price for them.
There is a better chance of Obama giving me free ammo, then any Walmart in CT carrying this deal.

Walmart in Franklin TN carries them for $159. They were out of stock. Guy said they sell out soon after they come in.
anyone seen them at any of the walmarts in east tn
Has anyone had luck getting their local Wally World to order some of this?

Tried that today actually, the lady told me they don't order anything, they just take what corporate sends them. I know this is BS and the Wal-Mart store manager has a fair amount of control over a certain percentage of the SKUs carried in the store so he/she can tailor it to better match the demand of the local populace, and that they could order if they wanted to. Keeping in mind, however, that this is also the store where I had to roam around for 10 minutes just looking for an employee to help me get into the case for some .22LR, and (politely, though by the time I had to do it multiple times this took some effort) asked two different people if they could please page someone to sporting goods with the key when the ones I found were somewhere else in the store, I figured I would not try to argue the point, opting instead to convince myself things aren't really going in the toilet and enjoy the rest of my day.
I have heard of other people doing so with no problems, though. I don't mean to be blanket critical of all Wal-Mart employees, because that's not fair, but the point is, it's a crapshoot.
None of the three WalMarts close to me carry it. Our local Bass Pro Shop has it stacked for $179.
My WM had them on top of their shelves for $159. I believe the only reason they weren't cleaned out in my area was that most people don't look up and can't reach that high. They had about 25 boxes on Sunday, and a few days later were down to 2 or 3.
I wish my Wal-Mart had them for $129.00. I get a 10% discount.
We don't have cans at all. The most I've seen of .223 is 5 boxes of Tula in the case with the handgun ammo. My Wally Worlds suck.

What two stores in Houston carry it?
Anyone seen any of these in Southwestern Ohio??

That is not as true as it used to be. I was with them for 10 years and my wife still works there. She has had the ability to "special order" anything removed. In the past three years, along with massive staff reductions, they have removed the ability of department managers to order stock. Where sporting goods once had a single dedicated department manager, most are now covering Auto and Lawn & Garden and sometimes toys. To do this, they cannot have them dealing with anything more than scanning and reporting stock levels.. The cost of cheap is reduced service...
