6.5 Grendel Mags
I am in NY so I am limited to 10 rnds mags unless preban. Can I use regular (preban) 20/30 rnd mags with the 6.5 rounds? It would be nice if I could use some preban mags to shoot the 6.5.
BTW, the 1 10 rnd mag actually holds 11 rounds, so is this illegal (NY)?

Not sure what you're asking ... Are you asking about the magazine plus the chamber?
I believe the magazine capacity is limited to 10 rounds, but a +1 in the chamber, logically, sounds legal. You'd have to check your local laws –– or maybe the hometown forum for NY –– to see if a 10+1 is allowed.
Note: I am not a lawyer; do your own research and find what the law says. Or just right to the DOJ for NY.
