Whata guys think of the C Products 40 Round AR Magazines? Any good? I was thinking about picking up 5 or 6 of them to use in my Beowulf until I pick up the new .223 upper. (I do understand there may be slight modification to use them in the Wulf)

Thanks

Do not waste your money.

Buy Pmags, Lancers, or USGI with self leveling followers.

With in my group we have over 30 and they have been great. Open the lips up a little and the Beowulf will feed in them.

I have no experience with them and the .50 but the two I have worked fine on my 5.56 guns. I really haven't put that many rounds through them. I bought them mainly as a novelty.

Probably the only C Products mags with a decent reputation.

I have their 30 round mags from 08/09 and they seem fine. From what I read the newer ones are tooled from somewhere else and not as good.

I bought 4 from AmmoToGo a few years ago when they were clearing them out for $9.99 each. Two became regular range mags for me, and have worked great. If I knew at the time how good they were I would have bought 20 of them.

Having said that, the mags I bought were from the pre-drama C-Products, and I don't know if the ones they're making now are as good.

you really dont hear negative comments about the 40's
I bought several as a novelty and they work properly as do the 12 CP 30rd mags(alum) I bought years ago

I have 5. 3 with orange followers, 2 with black followers. All run 100%. Never had an issue with any of them.

The original CP 40 SS mags were GTG. I still have 6 of these that I use frequently. Of the 600+ rounds through them, no issues with springs, followers nor feeding issues. I do wish I had picked more when I caught them on sale awhile back for $8 a pc. however, I can not say myself for ones produced now under different name.

I have two of these unused from several years ago. Had one drop about a foot (fully loaded) off a couch onto laminate flooring; it won't insert completely into my lower. The feed lips are bulged outwards, looks like it took a direct hit at that point. Unfortunate.

CDNN has them on sale every now and again. Have 4 of them with orange followers... so far so good.

I have 12 but have only used three of them. All have the orange followers.

Those three have worked flawlessly as some of my range range mags for over a year.

I've used a few in 3 gun comps, and they all worked fine
