Has anyone done any product testing regarding either of the Primary Arms Dots or the Vortex Dots

Vortex_Strike Fire and Sparc

Primary Arms_ 30mm Red Dot and Micro Dot

I know there is no REAL Substitution for the Eotech/Aimpoints/etc...

I have a Vortex Strikefire, good quality scope for the money, holds good zero, long battery life and clear in all weather conditions!

Call Primary Arms...

They sell both products and will be glad to give you the straight up side by side.

Either way, Primary Arms can sell you whichever you want so it is Win - Win...

My SPARC should arrive in the mail tomorrow. $168 shipped from SWFA. I had a coupon from a competitor, and SWFA did their 110% price guarantee. . I did a lot of research before I bought it, and it seemed to me that for the price, the SPARC was the way to go. Can't wait to get it to the range.

Similar quality. Vortex adds additional features like electronic controls, 2X magnifier, longer warranty. We are proud to be a Voretx direct, red dot and scope, stocking dealer. Won't go wrong with either one. We welcome any competitors coupon or sale prices on Voretx product.

We do have a bundle deal right now on our Micro Dot with Killflash and American Defense mount. Use the coupon code KF for $20 off bringing the package to $159. The killflash is removable.

Thanks

I have two SPARC's and they both work great for a budget red dot.

The spark is nice and has a good warrenty, but it projects the dot from the bottom blocking co witness on some setups. The micro dot however projects from the side and keeps it out of your view. The warranty however is not as good.
We stock them both where I work and sell a lot of them. We really don't get any back from either manufacture.

I had 2 vortex strike fires, both were great, just sold one on here to get a Viper PST 1-4 instead. That being said there are a lot of them in the EE for around 130 dollars and with the VIP warranty that is hard to beat. I feel like the vortex is one of the best red dots under $200. I have not used the primary arms units but I would guess they are pretty good for the money.

This.

The thing I like about the Vortex Sparc in particular is it has an auto shutoff after 6 hrs. Asides from that, the PA red dots are also just fine, and as Marshall said, a little cheaper with less warranty. Primary Arms is a great company; excellent service (as is Vortex).

Can't really go wrong with either. I've had a PA multi reticle aimpoint clone for over 3 years with no problems
