Building first AR15 and need some clarity on an optic.

1. Bought an upper PSA 16'' Mid LW - http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/complete-uppers/psa-16-hammer-forged-midlength-light-weight-upper.html

2. I noticed in the desc it says it has T Marks, and EOTech can be mounted on "Interfaces to 1" Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail"
Question: Are T Marks 1'' Picatinny and will they be compatible with an EOTech 552/516?

3. I am looking specifically for an EOTech, so will I need to buy additional hardware or will it mount/attach directly onto the rail w/o a mount like an Aimpoint would need?

4. The Front has F sights, the back nothing, if I did install an EOTech is it possible to also install a rear flip sight in case the Optic goes down?

All EOTech sights will clamp right to the receiver with no mount necessary.

Do you need a back up sight? If you're not going into harm's way with the rifle, probably not. If the optic goes down, just pack up and go home. If you're spending $400+ on a new EOTech, a $50 MBUS sight probably isn't too much of a stretch though, for just-in-case situations.

^True, it will be mostly a range/HD weapon, not military, thinking about it now I'll probably get it as an upgrade later and save some cash now.

Be aware that depending on the model of EOTech, you will get either an absolute co-witness, or a lower 1/3 co-witness.
