Pros and Cons of Aimpoint Micro T1 2MOA vs. Aimpoint Comp M4S 2MOA?
I am looking at picking up one of these sights for my 10.5" Noveske Switchblock upper. Both are 2MOA, and look to be good quality. Why would someone choose one of them over the other? Thanks.
Mike
Size. One is huge one isn't.
M4: easier to find battery. With amazing battery life. Magnifiers line up perfect.
Cons: HEAVY. Bulky. Longer tube to look down.
T1: 3.7 oz with mount. 5 year battery life, true two eyes open firing.
Cons: somewhat odd battery to find in a shtf situation. Tiny window to find the dot in, magnifiers line up slightly off.
I recently got my first T1 and like it very much. Not that there is anything wrong with either.
I quickly got used to the small opening. Not an issue at all so far. Love the compactness and the light weight. Built tough, high quality throughout.
I can get on target very quick. My favorite non magnified optic.
Thanks guys. I just ordered the T1 Micro with Larue 660 mount. I prefer the lower 1/3 cowitness instead of absolute so I can leave my sites up, plus with the small window it makes it easier to find the dot a little higher for me.
Thanks for the tips
