Ok, looking at all the different models of EOTech's there seems to be a large variety of Models, ranging from batteries, to NV or none, but is there really any difference between each other in their own class? ie 2 models that are both NV and both take AA batteries, are there really any huge difference to their 10+ models at all that price and functionality factors in?

They all function exactly the same. It's like a car with options. Just a matter of what options you want.
A EXPS is not functionally better optic then the XPS, Just different options.

They are both different and the same. Some are long some are short, one uses AA batteries others use CR123A etc.... plus there are different reticles available for some models as well..

I have always felt that the more you know about Eotechs, the more you will like the EXPS series. They bring some nice features to the table that the others do not.

Agree, I eventually dumped one of my very reliable 512's for a EXPS.

The EXPS is my favorite eotech by far.. It fixes just about everything flaw in EOtechs.

I believe some have the built in riser as well.
