I'm doing my first build and not thinking when I ordered the picatinny gas block and quad rail hand guards that the gas block doesn't line up with the hand guards. I have a set of MBUS sights on the way, but will the gas block be too low to mount the front sight on? If so is there anything out there to line my gas block up with my rail on my handguards. Any help or pics would be appreciated. Here is a link to a pic of what it looks like now.

There are taller front sights made to go on the gas block...or you can just put the sight on the rail.

had this problem, no MBUS will NOT work if they arent even, although Yankee hill makes a Front sight to address this
To go on the lower gas rail you need a metal
gas block height front. Plenty available.
You can get a riser for the gas block to use a standard height sight but it is not recommended to use the polymer MBUS for that.
Gas block height sights here
Also, don't know about mounting a plastic MBUS on a gas block. Sounds like melted plastic to me...
Thanks for the responses. I think I'm just going to take that set up off and go with a free float rail. I just don't like the look the way it is now.
