I'm building an 18" mid-length 6.5 Grendel right now that will be geared specifically for "precision" distance work. I'm a bit torn on which BUS to use on it, though. I put BUS on all of my ARs, but this one will be used pretty much exclusively with a scope. Since my scope will be mounted in a QD mount I feel like I should put some flip-ups on it. You know, just in case.
So... I'm looking for something light-weight and low-profile. I don't want to spend a ton of money because they will likely only ever be used during intial sight-in. I would just feel naked without something on there.
Suggestions?
+1 on the KAC 600.... small aperture, adjustable elevation, very low profile
