I'm looking to upgrade my optic from a Primary Arms micro dot, to the Burris Fastfire III. The only problem I have with the PA micro dot, is the tint on the glass. I do a lot of shooting at night, and I can tell the difference between that and my Aimpoint H1. How is the glass on the Fastfire, is there a tint or nice and clear?
I didn't see any tint in the one I looked through. I had one on preorder from OP, but had to cancel....will get one someday due to the price over RMRs.
I actually like the tint in the T1––but I've never shot at night with it. Though with a weapons light, I bet it wouldn't matter.

Thanks. I was pretty much set on another Aimpoint for my HK USC/UMP conversion, but thought I might try something different...and save $250
I went ahead and took the plunge on the Burris. Maybe it will be here by the weekend
update:
Worked out fantastic, and a couple hundred dollars less than another T-1. I'm not sure about the auto brightness feature though. We hunt with spotlights at night, and it seemed a little too bright. I turned it to the lowest setting and it worked out perfect.
