 Magpul MOE questions...

I am thinking about upgrading my AR's to
the MOE system, but I can't remember how
to verify if I have commercial tubes or Milspec.
Can some one remind me?

Also, can I order the sets from somewhere?
Grip, forearm, & stock as a package? Or are
they only sold separately?

Lastly, Is there any difference between the
real stuff & the airsoft kits. I don't want to
get burned with that if there is a difference.

Thanks!

Best way to know if you have a Milspec or commercial buffer tube is the end of it. if there is a slant cut then its a commercial buffer tube. If its not a slant cut but straight cut at the end then its a Milspec buffer tube.

I have heard that there are some commercial buffer tubes that are Straight cut at the end also but you rarely see those.

As for buying MOE stuff I would say pick a reputable vendor.

A quick google search should find you a good vendor and sometimes they offer discount codes if you search for them

you can also check Equipment Exchange here to see if anyone is selling any moe stuff.

The only difference I know between the real deal and air soft stuff is that the real deal is made better. Its hard to tell from pics if its real or not.

I wanted to clarify about my Airsoft
question. I have both commercial &
milspec stocks on my AR's, but the
MOE from my Airsoft won't fit either
of those, it's too small for the tube,
so that sort of settles that question.

Thanks again!

I've used www.primaryarms.com a few times for all my MOE stuff.. Very happy with the MOE stuff for the price.

I have FDE stuff on my AR including

Stock

Carbine hand guards

MVG

Trigger guard

BUIS (rear)

I also have a MIAD Grip from Magpul, as well as PMAGS

Planning to add MS3 sling, ASAP & MSA attachment points in the future..

I have a Bushmaster and happened to have a commercial buffer tube...
