LaRue Tactical Padded Sling or Vickers Padded Sling
What sling do you all like between these two?
LaRue Tactical Padded Sling or Vickers Padded Sling
I prefer the vickers due to lack of tailing fabric when adjusted.
Aren't they basically the same sling?
No. The vickers has a acetal adjuster tab to pull which automatically adjust tension without any excess material left behind.
The larue is a Viking tactics sling which is basically the strap of an Alice pack. You have a strap that you pull and it tightness up leaving all excess strap to dangle.

I prefer the Vickers...softer material and no tail.
The Vikings/Larue has a little more adjustment range but to me that's the only advantage.
Get both, pick one. Then sell the other one.
Vickers as well because of the lack of a tail. I also find it easier to grab the adjuster.
Blue Force Gear (Vicker's) because is has no tail and isn't flimsy as shit like the VTAC which is flimsy as shit like the Magpul MS2
I love my BFG sling

This. I like the Larue. It will suck up tight to my chest or hang muzzle in the dirt. The down side is the extra strap. But use them and decide. I never even notice it anymore.
Try em both out and see which one work best for you. I prefer the BFG VCAS.
