headspace variance?
How much headspace variance can be expected between bolts?
ie. one barrel and extension and a box full of bolts, you measure the headspace with each, how much variance between min and max? .005? .010? etc. Can I expect to just order one and it should be ok?
I have one converted Noveske barrel for my MWS and the LMT bolt that came with my MWS is too tight. I'd like to find one that would match up closely to the MWS barrel where my brass comes out at 1.625" as measured with Hornady headspace comparator.
I also have a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel yet to be converted but I don't have another creedmoor so I'm not worried about trying to get a certain measurement.
