Correct barrel and Receiver for Russian AKM build?

Hey guys,

I am currently gathering parts for a Russian milled Type 3 clone and a Russian AKM clone. I just bought a Russian parts kit from Atlantic, and it looks to be a sweet kit. Now I need a barrel and receiver. I know there are different specs and what not. Can someone who knows the right specs and measurements recommend where I can buy a correct style receiver and barrel? I see all kinds of eastern european barrels but don't know if they would work. I guess for 922r purposes I wouldn't mind finding a US made one. I'm not a gunsmith or builder in any way, shape or form, and will be sending this off to be put together. TIA.

For the AKM kit, we recommend the NDS-1 receiver model.
Thanks.

Joe,

You buy a romy virgin barrel from Apex 110.00
You can buy a milled receiver from CNC Warrior 300 Up
And of course Harlen Has the NDS-1
Engravining can be done @ Ident marking in DFW

Jim,

You read my mind. That's exactly what I'm doing for respectively for each rifle. Not sure about Nodak Spud's engraving though. It doesn't look appealing on their site.

Joe,

We do not offer engraving. The markings on the NDS receivers are done with an air powered dot peen machine. Markings done with dot peen are much different than what engraving will do.
