brought CLR today

I brought CLR today to clean my AK, not sure if i should put some into my gas tube to clean or not. please advise. Thanks

Do you mean CLP?
CLR is for removing Calcium, Lime, and Rust from sinks and bathtubs.

CLP will work fine on your AK, BTW.

I dont think that it is needed in the gas tube.

Could you please tell that to my wife's tantal and my '74? They both had some minor surface rust inside when i went to clean them today. And that's just from sitting.
I'll be putting a light rubbing of clp inside my gas tube, gas block, and receiver from now on. They're the areas the molyresin didn't get into.
