Stuck Mag. on my Vector Arms AK
Well I seem to have a jamed mag. on my Vector Arms AK47, I think I forced a Hungarian FEG Mag. and I cannot release the mag. The release lever on will not engage and appears to to be forced open. Please help.
I'm confused, is the mag release catching the mag, or is the mag stuck without the release catching it?
The release button appears to be "push in" I cannot push it or pull it out. Do you know if a Hungarian Mag. will fit properly in my Vector? Hope my info. is understandable.
Is the front locking tab inserted correctly? I've hastily put mags in before, and the front was too low in the mag well. Might help to pop off the top cover and remove the bolt carrier. You can wiggle it out then.

Ok I have this thing apart, now should I use a mallet and a screw drive or like and hit he mag out from the top?

You should be able to wiggle it out by hand. I wouldn't use any tools yet. Any chance you can take some pictures and post them?
Got It. Its Out
Use one hand to push the mag release forward, or toward the muzzle. Take the other hand and grab the mag and wiggle it out. You may have to man handle it, but the rifle and mag can take it.
