The M67 Aim was selling was manufactured in the 90's. Wideners M67 was manufactured in the 80's but also has cases with SKS strippers. Was it all manufactured with the same QC or are certain years better than others?

I've never heard of a "bad" year for Yugo 7.62x39mm. They have been making this caliber since 1965...

I've ordered a few batches on the Yugo from AIM. The first batch was in brown cardboard boxes. All had a 25 or a 26 stamped on them.

The next batch were in white boxes. Stamped 26 and 27. Not a clue what either means. Both shot great though.

All of the yugo is GTG and will be after we are dead and gone if stored properly.

One question though, is why different cartridge box amounts during the same year of production? I have a quantity of February 1979 M67 in 15 round boxes, and some from March 1979 in 40 round boxes, 10 rounds on 4 stripper clips. Now that makes sense.....you could load an SKS 4 times or a 40 round RPK mag. But why 15 round boxes.....such an odd amount.

2 boxes fill an AK mag. It makes more sense than having 20 rd boxes of 5.56 for a 30 rd mag.

I like the small 15-rd boxes because you get more ammo for your $ than with the clips. Of course, if you have no clips it's great to have 50 or so. They work with the Chinese AK mag adapters too.

The two kinds of packing are for the AK and SKS, but could be used by either. Just more convenient to load either system with the ammo already on strippers. As far as we are concerned, it depends on if you plan to use it in an SKS or if you plan to load AK mags with the strippers using the adapter.

I talked myself into ordering a can of 10 40-rd boxes of Yugo on strippers. I was getting ready to buy some empty clips but decided to go ahead and get them already loaded with ammo :). Got it from SGammo.
