I'm sure that there has been much discussion on this topic, however I am brand new to this forum, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I would like to know what is the best, and most readily available mag to fit the Norinco 5.56 BWK-92.
So far I have read about modifying the AK 74 mag (since it is made for a 5.45) or that possibly the 84s or Bulgarian models would work with a slight mod. Also, a friend told me that a Vepr mag might work. I read that Pro Mags fit but are very unreliable.
Any feedback or links would be very helpful.
Thanks
Cope's Dist. has some 15 rd. mags in stock. Even modified, 74 mags won't feed a fully loaded mag of 5.56 reliably. Also avoid promag!http://www.copesdistributing.net/product_info.php?cPath=179&products_id=3795
You want the Norinco 84S mags...for a 5.56 AK stay with the orig mags. The BWK is basically a 84S that is neutered.

Neutered? Do explain.......
Also, where is the best place to get the 84s mags? If I cannot find any, what is the best alternative?

It means all the "evil goodies" have been hacked off...no thread muzzle, bayo lug etc.....try gunbroker...beware they are not cheap
I fixed the link above. Some people have had success with bulgarian waffles filed down to fit but the feedlips are shorter so they don't always support the round enough as it enters the chamber. It is worth a try at half the price of correct mags. Don't buy polytech steel mags they aren't the same either.
