Recommend a good scope replacement for a PSL

The PSO scope I have that came with the rifle seems a little too sensitive to eye position. What is a good upgrade for my PSL?

Are there any rail/scope combos like the PSO that gets the centerline over the bore?

Well, after browsing Kalnkaoptics a bit, I think Iv'e found something I like here

Im wonder how forgiving it is with respect to cheek weld, eye position etc

All the posp scopes are going to pretty much sit in the same position as your original scope and have the same issue your now having. You're pretty much going to have to go with an independent scope and mount to move it to where you want it.
Disregarding moving the CL of the scope over the CL of the bore you can build up the butt stock to move your face into the perfect position and work at putting yourself into that exact same position for every shot. I do agree that the original scope is lacking a bit and could use an upgrade like the one you're looking at from kolinka. I put and 8x42 on mine.

Good luck

So you think it will be just as sensitive to eye position as the pso that comes with the rifle?

All PSO/POSP optics have eye relief, thats one reason they use the rubber eye piece. Another thing that cause the PSL to be somewhat uncomfortable is the height of the Romanian LPS scope and the stock of the PSL, I think it's probably the worst for ergonomics of any combloc rifle I've used. I never really got used to it despite having WARSAW length stocks on all my other rifles.

There's a guy that adapts SVD polymer stocks to the PSL. It's not super cheap but the stock is extremely comfortable, I'd think that stock combined with a POSP (because they naturally sit a bit lower than the LPS) would help out quite a bit. Not sure if it's worth the money for you but if I were going to get another PSL I'd do it.

The actual distance or position of the eye relative to the scope isnt so much of a concern to me at the moment as is the sensitivity to movement. If I dont have my eye in just the right spot, I get the border around the edges.
One thing I dont think I have mentioned yet is that I have had the rubber eye cup off of my current PSO that came with my PSL. Once I put it back on and looked through, I sort of re-discovered why it might have been put there in the first place.
My problem with the "shifting" in the viewable image went away and became stable, as my "eye position" relative the eyepiece was fixed.

Well, I still want to get the scope in the above link. Need some new PSL mags too.
Maybe I was just looking for an excuse to buy some toys for my rifle...
