My Yugo has a problem of the trigger not connecting after it cycles an expended round. A new round is cycled in the chamber but the hammer doesn't connect in the ready to fire position. I have sent this rifle back to the builder and he replaced the gas piston which solved one problem but now this. Doesn't happen every time. I thought it was a recoil buffer issue and took that out. I am using Wolf ammo. Is it time to change out the trigger parts which is a tapco G2 double hook set. I am baffled and need some advise.
Finally got my retainer plate from Red Star Arms to make the switch. Randall Powers is a stand up guy. Sent me two for the price of one just for the heck of it. Wow and it came super fast too. These plates make that trigger install so easy compared to the sheppards hook that it took less than a minute. Shot 60 rounds with not one problem. I think I finally have solved all the issues with this yugo and my confidence is restored in it.
