AMD 65 Grip?

I have an AMD 65 on order and am trying to deal with the 922 issues by replacing the Hungarian grips. So, I guess the easiest was to ask my question is, are the normal pistol grips and the forefrips interchangeable? In other words, If I order two matching pistol grips, can one be used as the foregrip?

Yes. Yes they can. IronWood Designs sells nice USA made wood grips in the Hungarian pattern.

The grips are interchangeable, but if yours has the plastic grips you will need to order long grip screws, which are standard on regular akm.

Thanks guys. I spoke with Ronin Grips and they can fix me up with the grips and the screws.
