You got a terrific deal on your Mak90. I't not every day you see one with a milled receiver.

Wow, amazing deal. I just paid a bunch more for more or less the same rifle. Congrats!
I have one just like that with the dark wood. See if it has the spring loaded firing pin. That's as close to a Poly Legend as you can get. My orange wood milled AK does not have a spring loaded firing pin. Both are "386" guns. I left the brown one bone stock. GARY N4KVE
Nice; is the receiver a straight cut or angle cut? If so, you can drop a set of Ironwood stocks on it (or a Chinese set from Gunbroker) and then work to deban that beauty.
I am in the process of debanning my Norinco MAK-90; but I need someone to install my Polish Milled gas block and FSB to complete the debanning.
My MAK-90 with Chinese blonde wood PG and Stock.
These are the parts I have for debanning my MAK; all Polish made (from Radom)
All the milled MAK's are slant cut in the rear. Almost as if they were all going to be folders. Ironwoods makes the perfect buttstock for it. GARY N4KVE
If you want to go all out, there's a guy who goes by turbothis at theakforum.net who can convert the slant cut receiver into a standard milled receiver with the correct tangs, so you can use regular milled receiver furniture (or American furniture that looks correct).
I used Russian grip plus handguards and I got a Ironwood buttstock.
I think it looks good.
