Got mags?
Where the hell are all of the mags? Now I'm gald I paid a little extra to get the two nice "spares" when I bought my rifle. Any time I find them they are 12rd or cost an arm and a leg. G3 mags are everywhere and supercheap. FAL mags are also not difficult to find at reasonable prices. Why are Galil mags so scarce? If this keeps up I might have bite the pillow and buy the AR mag adapter.

The converted Saiga people discovered that the Galil mags are a perfect fit for the Saiga 223. It comes in handy since I have both a Saigas223 and a Golani Sporter. You do have to add a bullet guide, but that's pretty much a given , as most Saiga owners are limted to factory, Surefire and Promag[crap] without adding a bullet guide.
so will surefire's 20 round saiga 223 mag work in a golani?
no, at least not a drop in.I have a surefire 30 rounder and two broken promag 30 rounders and they will not lock in the Galil.
I'm giving serious thought to getting a golani....could either or you let me know how yours is holding up? Any issues? A local shop has one in stock (does not have the "F" stamp)
Thanks in advance
Tapco is making them now

I got mine earlier this year. It has the bayo lug and GLN prefix. Runs great, great accuracy, no malfunctions. They ding the brass, so I bought a bunch a Wolf to feed it. The night sights were dead, so I picked up a new set from the guy in Texas. Just awesome with the Tritiums! The barrel is longer than I prefer for indoor use, but other than that I have no complaints.
example search for galil orlite on gunbroker. i bought 2 of these.

I purchased some "new" Orlite ones from Numrich. They weren't new (though they charged new price) and they were tight as hell. I returned them.
does century allow purchases by regular joes?

Any options for re-springing? Do Glil mags of a specific spring or is it a general size that works in a range of different magazines?

Try using Wolf extra power 30 round AR-15 magazine springs. I used them in 4 of my mags and they have worked flawlessly since putting those in and giving them a good cleaning + a little lube.
