I just came upon an AK...it's all unmatched numbers. Anyway...can someone help me ID this. On the front trunnion on the left side there was a triangle that's been mostly ground off...also the 1972 is sligtly ground...serial number starts with 1972 DM 4***. What do I have? I was told it was a non-G Romy or east german. I don't know though...I've only held Yugos. Yugos are stout. This one seems like it was made from a thinner metal. I almost thought it was an airsoft. It came w/ plastic buttstock & handguards.

Photos speak volumes but it sounds like a Romanian kit.

Romanian kit with East German furniture. The German front sight is different than the one pictured. Check to see if the G has been ground off.

You'd probably see an arrow (without the fletchings) in that triangle if it was visible. Looks like it's been worn down and lightly ground off.
