 Century Tantal issue

I have read on this forum about the problems with Century Tantals. I have seen it stated that they have fixed the problem, and that one of the ways to tell if you have the, "correct" Century Tantal is the designator RI 1536-X on the box. The numbers on the box that my Tantal came in (serial number 035XX) say RI1436-X. I suppose that means I have the screwed, up, keyhole barrel? It's brand new. Will Century take it back and fix it just based on it having that number or do I have to go out and prove it keyholes?

I would take it out and shoot it. Bought mine about 6 months ago and have had no keyhole issues. Love the gun, its been a blast to shoot and shockingly accurate shorter range 25-75yards. I haven't really shot past that...

SHOOT IT.

Definitely shoot it. Mine arrived Friday and I had it out at Knob Creek on Saturday. No keyholing and very accurate for what I was shooting, about 75 yards or so. Not sure of all the numbers as I'm at work, but s/n is in the 0039xx range. Very pleased overall.
