Anyone use a mini reddot on their carry gun?

I've got an RMR on my G19 from Suarez and his folks.
There's a learning curve with it. It took me to my third range session of drawing, acquiring and firing before I felt comfortable with it at all.
I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep it permanently or if it is worth it. Certainly not a cheap upgrade.

I've been thinking about finding a cheap G17 or M&P 9 to have milled for an RMR and BUIS just to play around with.

has anyone used one it rain? or conditions where the window might fog up? that would suck if you had to pull you CC piece only to find the window fogged up..maybe install a lil windshield wiper on the front?

No personal experience, but I've heard good things about applying Rain-X.
