Gen 1 Glock 17 mags

I have a couple Gen 1 non drop free Glock 17 mags I have no use for. They came with a Gen 1 I recently purchased. Are they considered pre ban. Can I give them away to someone in a pre ban state that has a Glock 17. If so, just need $5 for shipping. First person responding that can legally accept them gets them.

Why would anyone in a non-ban state want them other than to resell them for profit. They suck ass for everything else.

The reason I want them is to go with my Gen-1 Glock that doesn't have any "U" notch mags with it.

They still should have gone to someone that really could have used them... It would suck to live in a ban state..

Yes, I live in one of those "Commie States" and these magazines are VERY difficult to come by in the state. I know because I have been looking for them for my Glock 17. It would be great to live in a free state where you could just go out and buy whatever you need anywhere at any gunstore and not be limited to preban hi capacity only or face 15 years in jail if you had the wrong mag in your gun....<><....:)
Actually I think I may have had some dealings on the EE with the member that claimed these two preban mags and IIRC he is a gret guy, that said, I think the OP did offer them up to someone in a ban state. The OP's words were "Can I give them away to someone in a pre ban state that has a Glock 17."
I would have loved to have been able to get them because living "behind enemy lines" I really do need them, however I was not the first to speak up. Are drop free Gen 2 mags pre-ban? My friend has two and maybe would consider trading for Gen 4s to someone in a ban state. Even trade. How do you tell on those mags?

I recently bought a Gen 2 with a non-drop free mag. I'll have to check when I get home tonight but if it is a "u" notch pre-ban legal magazine I'll send it to the first person in a ban state that posts if they pay postage.
ETA the person posting also needs to be able to legally own it

They are hard to find here in NY (Long Island NOT NYC). If anyone wants to help someone behind enemy lines I would be more than happy to pay shipping or a fair price for them.

I am not sure it is allowed to do this kind of thing in the tech forums , But I have 3 U notch prebans that I use all the time, but I can't afford to just give them away. At the current Midway USA sale price it would cost me $69.79 replace them.
I guess I could put them on the EE

If you still have mags I would be interested in them being in New York,a ban state for new high cap mags

He could sell them for replacement cost and then buy new mags.
And good on the OP for giving away the pre-ban mags. I agree they should go to someone in a ban state.

We just find the price of a dealer who has them in stock. Add the price of the new mags to the price of shipping for all the mags and send a money order for that amount.

I have a g17 pre-ban non drop free mag for someone in a ban state. All I ask for is enough money for me to ship the pre-ban and buy myself a new g17 mag. I can get them for $22. First IM from a banned state gets it. Just trying to help the poor people in the commie states!

While you are right for saying this, you obviously don't live in a ban state. Those poor bastards don't have access to a good supply of pre-ban magazines as they have been bought up and hoarded over the last 15 years. I agree that the OP should have gotten permission from the site Admins first. But sometimes, it is nice to help a ban state stepchild out once in a while.
