Do any distributors have the new 586 classic in stock?

Local dealers say they can't get it.

They are still showing "allocated" from most distributers. That means the distributers have placed orders and are waiting to receive them for distribution to gun stores.

Felt solid like any 686 in recent production but blued. I don't care for the shinyness of uncoated stainless steel, so I am trying to talk my grandpa out of an older 586 he has.

considering you can find (in most areas) used 586's a good bit cheaper than the new ones that is the way i'd go if i wanted one. I am more of a k-frame guy myself.

Nice...I have a 8 3/8" 586 with the factory scope rings, if I only had the Smith wheelguns I foolishly swapped off back in the day.
