 sr9 jammed up tight

i went to the range me my friend were shooting my sr9 well it shot and went to release the empty car. the action side back about .25 of an inch and is stuck tight i can see it but i can get it to break loose its jammed up can someone help

You stuck an empty car up in the magwell? No wonder it's jammed.

Release the mag, pour a little gun oil on the action, try to close the action, the spent cartridge should work free and eject unless something is broken.

it shot. i guess it was tryin to eject the empty shell out. the action i guess its callled slide back a quarter inch and got stuck. i cansee the shell in there

Clear it.

Right hand shooter:
Point pistol in safe direction and keep your finger off trigger.

Grab the rear/top of the slide very firmly with your left hand. Stronger if you have your thumb pointing back towards your chest. Grasp that slide and don't let go.

Right hand, web area between thumb and index finger, bash into the rear of the pistol grip (backstrap) hard. The force of your hand hitting the rear backstrap will make the slide rack open.

Repeat if required.

a gun smith did that and some other stuff he told me to send it to ruger ups comin to get it in the mornin
