Springfield ILS Mainspring replacement

I would like to replace my #23 mainspring with a #19.
I have the ILS housing on a springfield loaded. Can I replace this spring, or do I need a new mainspring housing?

You should be able to replace just the spring. I changed mine out on my 1911-A1 a few years ago with no problems.

Yup, just need either really strong hands or a vice and a punch
