Popping holes in paper? HSM or whatever is on sale. I brew my own.

I roll my own and make them for $6 per 50.

158gr. LSWC - $.06
Powder - $.03
Primer - $.03
Total - $.12 a round.

When it comes to factory, I'll use whatever is at the gun shop the cheapest.

Just bought 500 rounds of Georgia Arms stuff. It was just about the most inexpensive brass-cased ammo I could find.

Never shot the stuff before, but I plan on running a a hundred rounds through my GP100 later today.

The shipment from Georgia Arms arrived today. Kudos to GA for shipping it so quickly.

The stuff looks great. The cases look like clean Starline Nickel Plated and the bullets are very well cast. Won't be able to shoot today unfortunately. Hopefully tomorrow.

Just bought a Smith 686 today(found a good deal on a 6" used one) and was going to ask the same question on here. I had considered just going to Wally and picking up a box of WWB or maybe Federal if they had any. I had hoped to keep it on a steady diet of specials to punch paper.

Thanks I will keep that in mind. I am anxious to get it to the range, super excited I was able to get this deal with the prices on new ones being what they are.

WWB 130gr FMJ is what I shot before I started reloading. Aguila 158gr SJHP is dirt cheap right now from AIM.
