I'm helping a widow liquidate her husbands gun collection. She also has thousands of rounds of ammo in new old stock 50's and 60's era ( I'm guessing) ammunition. Do they have any value over factory new stuff?

It's mostly .38 SPL and .45 ACP wad cutter match ammo, commercial ammo. Pics to follow

Lots of newer stuff too. 30-06 is recent but K-Mart stopped selling ammo 10-15 years ago around here

A mix of old and new

Factory reloads ( I'm keeping for components) M1 Garand & .30 carbine milsurp .38 SPL .45 ACP , This looked like his "go" box.

My Jeep was pretty low on the springs

depends. id say you could get near the going rate for modern match ammo for the 45, assuming youre selling to a shooter not a collector. Price it a little cheaper and it will fly out the door and leave her a nice pile of cash

ETA: not an ammo collector, but unless its an obscure caliber, military ammo in military packing, or made by a maker like say kynoch, its just regular ammo. Might want to test fire a few rounds though, just to make sure it functions

Nah, it's not worth anything. Send it to me for disposal.

Bandit nailed it.

I'll send it to you freight collect. Just don't complain if UPS replaces the contents with rocks.

Go to the International Ammunition Association discussion forum and post these pics. There are guys there who can give you some good advise. Some of what I see there might have some collector value, but I'm not a civilian box collector. Everything looks to be in great condition, which is everything to a box collector. Problem is how are you going to sell it off and how long do you want to wait to realize the maximum value of the collectable stuff? Could take years and tons of time peddling it on the internet to fing the right collectors.

Some of what you have might be worth some money last weekend I was at the local gun show and my buddy wanted to purchase a couple of vintage ammunition boxes $$$$ they were pretty pricey, if the boxes are in excellent condition and if they are full they will bring more money but finding the right buyer is the key. For instance a vintage Winchester or Remington box denoted as Military grade ammunition was selling for over $100.

from what I can see in your photos, the older Remington stuf that says Kleenbore on the box and the older Winchester boxes that are yellow with the red X could be worth more to a collector depending on condition of the box and how much of the ammo remains in it. The remington ammo in the second pick are nothing special and wouldn't be worth anymore than new ammo. The Federal stuff with Monarch on the box might be collectable, but the federal stuff with the red/white box with Federal printed at an angle is probably not worth any more over new. I'm not sure about the Blue and yellow boxes. The military packaged stuff looks like basic loads and around my area goes for the same price as new ammo.
