herter's ammo is it any good

I just got my hand on 1200rds of 40s&w 180 gr all brass case got a good deal on it just never used this ammo I read a little on the ammo but I've try some on sat.

I use the 7.62 x 39 variety in my AK. Works really well in it.
Dirtiest ammo I've ever put through her, but it works, and you can't beat the price.

Rifle ammo is okay but have not had great accuracy out of the pistol calibers. It goes off though.

I have not had any issues with the brass cased pistol calibers. I think they are just Fiocci in a Herter's package.

Bought several boxes of the steel-cased 9mm ammo some time ago...so far so good, except for one box where I had a dud and one of the casings caused a stovepipe FTE in my G26.
But I'm the kind of guy that doesn't mind when there are failures in my practice ammo, it lets me practice my failure drills...

Yeah went shooting Sat & Sunday shoot five hundred rounds of the herter's ammo no jams in my glock 22 shoots clean and accurate going to buy some more this week. Good shooting everyone

The pistol rounds I bought had a G.F.L. head-stamp with I believe is Fiocchi.

It is indeed. I might have to get some. Fiocchi is excellent ammo.

I believe the Herter's steel cased ammo is of the Wolf/Tula variety.

Well I shot about 600 rds and I was cleaning my gun and I notes the there is brass shavings in my muzzle I cleaned my gun and I shot some of my reloads and I didn't have any shavings and I shot some new federal ammo too and no shavings dose anyone have a answer

Any details? I assume it was herter's. What kind of gun? I assume it was a pistol since I don't think Herter's make brass cased rifle ammo.
