What do these feel like? I have not had a chance to handle them and I have a sig229 scorpion on order with these.
Rubber? Plastic? something else?
Thanks
The G10 grips are plastic. They feel very good while shooting, for CC not so much. They will eat you alive carrying IWB and if you wear dry-wick shirts they will pick the threads and cause a run.
They have a very rough texture. What I found worked good was to sand them slightly. They will still have a good grip, but much easier on you and your shirts.
Hogue G10's on my 228R DAK.

I have a set of Hogue G10's on my Hi power and I like them alot. From the internet:
G10 (G-10) is a high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate consisting of multiple layers of woven fiberglass mesh cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin binder.
The uncheckered part of the grip is grippy yet it allows your hand to slip into position easily. The checkered part of the grip gives good traction without being too aggressive.

thanks for the input. looking forward to getting mine
