I just took a 5.5" stainless 45LC Gaucho in trade for doing some auto work. It looks like new and I got ammo with it too.
Does anyone have any experiance with this pistol?
I plan on playing with it for now but will probably sell it to finance a new can for my AR.

The overwhelming response is killing me.

Mine shoots high. Have not shot it much. Good solid gun that will take Colt Peacemaker grips (if you want the hideous Taurus plastic off of it).

Mine also seems to shoot a lil high. Also mot much shooting thru it .. maybe 90 rounds or so ... was a lotta fun tho

Sights that shoot high suck. If it were to shoot low, a file would fix it.

I have a 5.5" barreled one in .357. Fantastic pistol. Nice trigger, very accurate, handles full honk .357's with aplomb.

A little heavy for an 1876 type pistol.

As far as shooting high, make sure you are using the sights correctly, they are a little different than a three dot sight. put the front blade just under your target.

I have a 4.75 inch 45 LC. I love it. It does shoot a little high. I bought some custom grips to replace the factory ones. I love it overall!
