Anyone else have problems with a PT100 series and accuracy? Have a PT100 series and no problems? Post about it... Trying to figure if the gun is at fault or if it is the shooter (me) ... Don't really know any experienced shooters to check it out ... Love the look of the pistol. I just am having trouble with accuracy. My wife's Walther P22 is greatly accurate in my hands (well for me anyway) ...

You might want to go over to Taurus armed dot net and ask over there. I own a PT92 that is a tack driver when I shoot the recommended load(124gr) and shoots low with 115. If you look in the owners manual it will tell you the recommended load for your pistol. It does make a difference!

try 180gr..take your time..work on trigger control.

Its almost ALWAYS the shooter. most pistols are far more accurate then the person behind them.
their would have to be something pretty screwy with the pistol to make its accuracy suck

Ok - couldn't take much time to shoot very much as it was raining off and on. It did appear to me that the 180 grain grouped far better. They pack more wallup too. It now appears that accuracy is my problem

I'll post more later after further testing... Maybe this will help someone in the future - really really like this gun, btw.

Had a first gen. Taurus PT-101 that was as accurate as any Beretta I've owned *when it worked.* 3 trips to FL for repairs for extractor and feed ramp issues as well as nickel flaking off of the barrel.........sold it off for scrap. I liked being able to carry it SA, serious disappoint.

so far ... knock on wood ... I have had no problems with this pistol - it has functioned perfectly (other than possible accuracy problems with non-recommended grained ammo). It seems really solid and so forth. I am no expert by any means, however, so take with a grain of salt. Never been in the military. My father was in Korea (Army) - he taught me to shoot. But he didn't teach me that much. Mine is black with Gold screws / hammer etc... gets "Wows" at the range. Just bought it two years ago. So maybe I missed the badly engineered / functioning models...?

Problem definitely exists on my end not the firearm's end - this is a great gun - no question about it. Shot some this past weekend - no trouble. 180 grain is the hot ticket
