I'm looking to buy a 22 and someone offered me a P22 with 5,000 rounds through it for $250. The pictures don't show much external wear, and he said it has worked great.
What are the service life on walthers? 5,000 sounds like quite a bit. Does Walther have a warranty on their pistols?
Thanks
It can be. I had a slide crack in mine closer to 10K, and they replaced it no questions asked. Can't say anything bad about the customer service but the quality control of the P22 isn't exactly the best.
I would spring the extra $50 or so for a new one, personally.

New one is kinda hard being 19
If I dig a little more and find that 5,000 aint to bad, I'll offer $200 for it.
That would be pretty fair.
And, as I think back, I had my mom buy my P22

because I was only 18 at the time (they hadn't been out long when I got it).

Yea, parents are tired of buying me handguns. Say I do my own gun stuff from now on.

It was the slide that cracked for me.
