I just got my PPQ today and had ordered some P99/SW99 holsters to try with it.

Safariland:

6004-842 right handed w/ M5 light - works with PPQ and TLR-1S

6280-84 - basket weave duty holster for SW99/P99 with thumb snap

6360-84 - plain ALS holster. remove the locking piece for the trigger guard and you are good to go. It will still lock the gun in using the thumb lever and top strap.

I got my top two for $25 shipped together. I got the bottom for $28. I am buying a Safariland leg platform for the 6004 to run as a drop leg w/ light. Keeping the basketweave as a backup and using the 6360 as a belt holster.

I've got a PPQ on the way and was looking for a holster. I really liked the Raven I had for my HK45 but didn't want to wait 5 mos. I came across Kaluban Cloak and ordered one. Turn around is supposed to be a week.

Here's a review from Snipershide.

Bladetech makes them even though they are not listed on their web sight. Here is the email reply I got from them.
We are currently able to make the IWB holster for this pistol. If it is not listed online, you can choose any that is, and then in the comment section specify which pistol you have. Otherwise, please give us a call at 1-877-331-5793 to place your order over the phone. Thank you.

I may still order one from them. They have been very nice about answering any questions I have had. Just gotta wait for spring to buy the whole kit.

Thanks. I also found out that Desantis makes a 3 slot belt holster with or without a thumb snap.

I just got the Desantis Speed Scabbard for my PPQ. For $45 or so on opticsplanet.com, it seems like a good deal. I'm happy with it and it works fine with Meprolights.

Here are some pic's of my DeSantis PPQ holster from opticsplanet.com. I really like it. The belt slots could stand to be a little tighter on a 1.5" belt, but all things considered it's a very good holster. It conceals as well as any pancake style OWB holster I've used. I also included some pic's of the Meprolights I just installed. It's late and I'm in my PJ's, so there are no pic's of me modeling the holster.

You can buy 'factory' leather Walther PPQ holsters from Earl's Repair Service. Granted they are not cheap, but they fit - some have the Walther logo.

I want to pick up a PPQ as my new open carrier, but I haven't had any luck finding a holster with proper retention for open carrying. Has anyone had any luck figuring out if any SERPAs or similar fit the PPQ?

EDIT: Looks like the P99 SERPA fits. I just ordered the gun so when I get it and the holster, I will check back with my input as well.

Alabama Holster Company is listing the PPQ now.

I have a j-frame IWB holster from them. Great customer service, but expect to wait 2 months since it's a one man shop.

The more options the better. I'd love to see this weapon gain a lot of traction.

my P99 Blackhawk holster does fit the PPQ but the PPQ does not withdraw as smoothly. the slide is slightly catching on something, but otherwise it fits.

I already have 16 rounders so I'd rather just buy the extensions but I appreciate the heads up.

Guys, I have a Don Hume holster for my HK P30 that fits ky PPQ perfectly. They have very similar dimensions including ambi slide releases so I would think this would be some good info on other holsters to look at.

So I picked up my Q today. Can't wait to get to the range. Anyway, I've read this thread about a dozen times and looked at all of the holsters and manufactures listed. I finally settled on the Kaluban Cloak. I went to the site and put in all the order info. I hit submit and it popped up and said my order was received and that it would be reviewed or something. But it never actually asked for any of my info. I don't even think I put my email address in, so I'm just kind of left hanging. I guess I'll call them tomorrow and see what they say.

Anyway, While researching, I only read through the first few posts of that linked thread on Sniper's Hide. I went back just now and read the whole thing. It looks like there were some issues with folks not getting their orders? It was last year and in this thread you guys seem happy with them. So are they good to go now? I'm not real patient, so waiting a few months will piss me off.

Thanks.

There is a field on the order form for your email address not too far from the fields you enter your CC info and shipping address.
Had you have given them your email they probably would send you info about the order.
KC is good to go. Ive ordered multiple times from them and turn around is usually around 2 weeks. Friends of mine have also ordered from them with zero issues.
The thread on snipers hide is relatively old. Apparently they had some problems handling the volume they were getting and it is no longer an issue.

Thanks. I emailed them today, and they got right back to me. I'll try the form again. I must have hit submit or whatever too sonn. It's kind of a screwy ordering process IMHO, but I'll give it another go. I'm just glad they're still going. I really like the looks of their stuff.

Good to know, as these are the best kydex holsters I've ever had. And yes, it's too bad the wait time is so long.
