OK , talked to somebody I know in the area and found out he was selling an 80's Colt MK IV series 80 *COMBAT ELITE*
he purchased it new , fired less than 300 rounds total , storage for years and years .... has a couple very minor spots (rust )
brown box, and all papers

Gun seemed very tight all original condition , what made these a COMBAT ELITE ?

Black slide, stainless frame, commander hammer. Some had "enhanced" features such as undercut triggerguard and vertical serations cut on the front strap. Sound combat elite?

Essentially everything that makes a XSE model today. Basically, it was step between the Gold Cup, and the M1991 series pistols. I've had mine since the mid 90s, and paired it up with a .22LR Colt Conversion Unit a few years ago.
