Anyone have and advice or own a Colt Junior 25 auto? I'm not familiar with them at all but have a line on one for $175 with slight holster/pocket wear. Does that sound like a decent price, and what am I getting myself into if I get one of these little guns? I'm mainly looking at it for a collector value, not for the money so sell later so much as to just to have one. Something to shoot occasionally from the past.

I don't have any pics at this point.

colt juniors are nice guns- 175 would be top end to me. they are strictly a pocket carry gun- not a lot of collector value, and not many people carry them anymore with the advent of similar size 32's and 380's. My brother has a soft spot for them and has 3 of them- 2 25's and a 22 short. for what they are they shoot pretty well, since they are all steel they are relatively heavy. they do tend to be very reliable and durable.

Werent the Juniors built under license for Colt by Astra?

ETA- I had a .22 Short model years ago. It was functioned pretty well.
