I tired this once before, I believe, but it didn't take off. Let's try this again. Post pictures of your HK pistols in action!

Looks good man.
Not sure if the local indoor range here would allow me to take
pics. (guess i'll ask them next time)

nice pics blanco.

by the way, im not trying to criticize or anything, but it seems like your earplugs are not in properly, which could possibly cause hearing damage.

here is a good video on proper earplug insertion just in case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPNPZJingZA&feature=related

Thanks!

I know it looks that way, but they actually are in properly. I don't think I could mush them down into my ears any farther than that. I've never noticed any ringing or other problems when I leave the range, and I also score perfect hearing on hearing tests. Thanks, though!

Razzman, in your last post, the 1st picture is pretty amazing. Slide is back in battery, flat toward target, and the fired casing looks like it's still within 12" of the gun.

Wait a minute! Are those stock sights???

I have a P30L that I won last year that is a joy to shoot, it just doesn't fit in my chosen divison. I may use it next month at the Rockcastle Pro-Am 3 Gun though.

I'd like to say that I have some super-human ability to control recoil, but it was probably just a lucky (camera) shot that caught the slide just as it came back in battery.

The P30L is isn't really ideal for USPSA-anything, but it fits best into Production division. For 3-gun, there are more competetive guns out there, for a lot less money, but the gun won't hold you back too much. Pick a gun, shoot the crap out of it, and you'll improve. The P30 does have a few things going for it––it's stupid reliable, pretty accurate for a plastic gun, is by far the most comfortable plastic gun I have ever held, and it is super inexpensive––oh wait. Just kidding. Its a great gun, and (with a trigger jonb) in Production division, its competetive enough. Now if we could just get them to make a 5" version.

P30 that I just sold. Hopefully be getting either a USP9C or P30S to replace it very soon.

Couple pics from a local match last weekend. It was hot as hell. This was only the second stage––about 9:45––and I'm (we're) already soaked.

Thanks! The 23 is awesome for sure. Had to make sure it got a good pic.

fadedsun,

It's definitely a bit heavy, but I just do bicep curls with it.
