As a Xmas present my wife got me this-
A brand new HK45, V1. This is my first HK, and I cant say enough about how awesome this weapon is, but then again you all already know that.

The TLR-1 was something I picked up at a Xmas sale for $85. It will stay on there for now, but I'm considering a Viridian X5L.

The Benchmade I just picked up from Craiglists for $50

All in all, probably the best Xmas's yet.

Have a great New Year everyone !

Enjoy your HK45. My daily carry piece is the HK45C. They are both impressive pistols and a pleasure to shoot. A word of warning though. Once you've gotten into your first HK there will be more to follow. They are addictive and well worth investing your hard earned cash into. By the way, their long guns are just as nice as their pistols.

I have that same setup, except with a cold steel recon 1 tanto. But that is a great pistol and a good knife you have there. I love my HK45.

And be careful, because the more time you spend with it, the more time you will love it........and then want more HK's.

Thanks.

My biggest obstacle will be to get use to the cover hold versus center mass hold. I was fully aware of the " my HK is shooting low" drama and my very first round at 7 meters was dead center bulls eye, an omen of things to come.

Now time to find a good holster, some extra mags and decide on a set of sights.

Beautiful pistol and blade!

Though not a .45 ACP fan, I prefer the HK45 leaps and bounds over the HK45c personally.
