Anything I need to watch out for when shopping for a new 50?

Not really on a new deagle. Just the same as you would for another gun except pay close attention to ammo and it's price and make sure it's avaliable and in your price range, then pay attention to the gun price. If you get the 50AE and need ammo, drop me a PM and I can get you premium ammo for WAY less than you pay in the stores or on the computer since I manufacture my own ammo. Jeff

If its NIB then no. I've its a used model then you might need to change the recoil springs or give it a real good cleaning(especially the gas port) to ensure proper function.

If it says: DEagle or deagle or deegle anywhere on the gun, don't buy it; it's a fake.

Only buy it if it says: DESERT EAGLE

There's only one way to say the name.

DESERT.
EAGLE.

That concludes tonight's mild rant. I know...picky, picky, picky!
Have FUN with your .50!

Here's mine ––- MkVII and his Ruger SuperRedhawk brother. Both .44's & HOGUE equipped.
