FTF on new Baby Eagle compact
I just bought a poly baby eagle compact .40yesterday, and put abt 50rnds through it late this evening. Had ftf"s every 2-3 rnds, hell it would jam just dropping the slide,
I was using wwb 165fmjs. thought at first I was limp wristing it, but doing it by just dropping the slide? The mag has alot of forward play in it, don't know if that is the prob as I only have one mag.
anybody have any idea?
I have the 45 Baby Eagle and have never had a jam. I would check you mag or better yet get a new one. Did you buy this new or used, may be an off market mag. If not contact Magnum Research, they stand behind there products. I have a 45 mag DE also get weapons.
thanks man.Any good place to get mags midway has the Tec-Gear but i have heard to stay away from them, Any one have stock mags?
Mine had a few FTE's when they were new. I ran them pretty well oiled and after several hundred rounds the problem went away and they have been 100% good to go.
