Since the full-size DE isn't really a practical gun, I figured I'd go with an equally un-practical finish. :) It's all in fun.

That's pretty good work, who did it?

Don't want carbon fiber for my Sig though.

Now all it needs are some flames and stickers for any aftermarket parts!

It's.....interesting. Not my cup of tea lol.

Flames were my first choice, but I had trouble finding someone that could do them...

Fuckin' saved! I think that is very cool, and completly agree with you.

The DE is a "fun gun" why have a normal finish? Good job man!

Nice. How long did it take and what was the damage?

BTW: If your trying to make it lighter, your doing it wrong

It actually took a couple of months, but that was because I had originally asked for the CF to be only in the portions shown in red on one of the pictures above. The shop had a hard time making the different areas match. They re-did it a couple of times to try and get it to look right. In the end we just decided to go full CF. Cost was pretty reasonable, bit over $100.

Just doing this for fun, not really concerned about weight, tactical advantages, etc. :)

Very nice and a great price as well. I dont follow you on the "practical" part though , unless it's a .50.

Not my cup of tea, but it is well done and clean. Also credit is deserved for an original design.

Might want to get that checked out, if you plan on aiming your Desert Eagle.

The flames come from the barrel.

Oh, wait... it's a .357. Never mind. But the fireball from .50's are pretty impressive.

Yup, post the name of that company. I guarantee they'll be getting more business if all their work looks that ridiculously amazing.

I might do it on a ragged out P6 or something cheap with no collector value.
