Holster option for CCW my Desert Eagle?

Are they any companies making shoulder or inside the waistband holster?

Also anybody remember the thread from a couple years back where the guy make his own
from a nice tan leather, it that guy still around and making holsters?

Magnum Research was offering shoulder rigs at one time. I don't know if they still offer them, or who made them for Magnum Research.

In the past, I've seen Uncle Mike's shoulder holster set-ups for Desert Eagles. But I dunno where you can find them nowadays.

Passport offers them. But in my experience, Passport holsters are cheap "get by" rigs. Their magazine pouches are decent, though.

I bought a holsterman holster from his ebay store, $10 cheaper than magnum research and seems to work nice enough for me.

I have one of their holsters for a different weapon. However, if you want to carry that boat anchor concealed, this might be a way to go.

It would be pretty hard to go from concealed to ready in a matter of seconds with that huge thing, I dunno maybe not.. One of the female officers for my department was faced agaisnt a criminal hold up in a house with a desert eagle 44mag. She was faster with her 40 than he was with the DE. Granted that doesnt mean its not a good gun for that purpose but speed and acuracy make all the difference in a shootout. If you had the element of surprise it might work. who knows maybe you could be fast with that thing. Im guessing IWB carry would not feal all that good. sholder holster maybe

If you can make one with a reinforced mouth that won't collapse? Honestly, I'd spring for a C note, easy, more maybe. Though I kind of want to see what a shoulder rig for it would be like...that thing would be a PITA to carry IWB, espeically if you're a fatso like me

That's what a belt is for I would be interested in a good IWB holster myself.

If I was 6'8" instead of 5'8" I would CCW a full sized Eagle to. The best I can hide is a Baby Eagle.

I carry a Smith 627 V-comp and you can rarely tell I have it on me. A Desert Eagle wouldn't be much different.
