Long Range Shooting - define "long range".

I'm just curious to know what is the farthest you can shoot your DE, scoped or not, with satisfactory results.
200, 300 yards? what group sizes can you expect?

50 yards for me.

I would think that the ballistics of the 50AE would keep it to under 100 yards. Using .44mag I bet you could go to 300 or so. I don't have one so consider this a tag.

With the .44 Mag I can hit a man sized target reliably at 100 yards, and pop cans at 50 about 50% of the time with luck and a prayer to Jobu.

farthest i shot was 25 yards with the 50. It was still putting rounds into the orange box on silouets...
