Shopping Kimber 9mm's ?
Hi guys. I own a Kimber Custom Target II .45ACP and a Glock 19 9mm . I think I'll sell the Glock and get a Kimber 9mm since I love the 1911 platform. I'm leaning towards a Kimber Pro Carry for two reasons : It's not very expensive and the 4 inch , commander size is good for a 50 foot range or concealed carry.
I also checked out some others like the tactical series but for 4 hundred more, it seems like hte pro carry might be one of the best Kimber values .Your thoughts ?
Looks like the tactical is also more expensive because it has the bushing-less bull barrel.

Update:
I ended up buying a new Kimber Pro Carry 9mm .Steel slide / black .I'm waiting for my Wilson mags to arrive so had to use the factory mag. So far I have 2 hundred rounds through the gun with no issues. To aid break in, I locked the slide back over night and also loaded all 9 rounds into the stock magazine.
The gun should have been cleaned before i used it to get rid of the factory oil but I didn't. But I am cleaning it tonight .As for performance, the trigger will in time break in and get smoother and lighter but the gun shoots great and is very comfortable. Being a light aluminum frame, the gun will jump on you a bit. My Kimber 45 is a heavier gun and I get less muzzle raise .For carry, that shouldn't be a problem.
